Role Overview

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) – Agency Motor (DMVO) will be responsible for driving business growth across the Gujarat region through effective management of agency channels. The role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing teams, and ensuring achievement of business targets in line with Tata AIG’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Agency Motor business across Gujarat, with base location in Ahmedabad.
Drive sales growth by expanding and strengthening agency relationships.
Achieve assigned business targets (premium, profitability, and market share).
Monitor and review performance of the team and agency partners regularly.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (operations, underwriting, claims, etc.) to deliver seamless service to customers and partners.
Identify new business opportunities and implement initiatives to increase penetration in the Motor segment.
Provide market insights and competitor analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduate/Postgraduate with 10–15 years of experience in General Insurance, preferably in Motor Agency business.
Proven track record of managing large teams and delivering business results.
Strong knowledge of agency distribution models and motor insurance products.
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationshipmanagement skills.
Ability to work under pressure and drive performance across a large geography.
