Job Description

Overview of Role
We are seeking a dynamic Regional Manager to lead operations across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh, based out of Bangalore. The role requires someone who can support and guide the sales team, introduce new technologies in rural markets, and drive value-based selling by identifying the right solutions for the right customer segments. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with rural communities and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and can balance both sales targets and community engagement.

Responsibilities
Sales Support & Team ManagementLead a team of ~15 sales executives across three states.Drive achievement of monthly sales and collection targets.Support the sales team in building retailer and FPO relationships, handling objections, and closing high-value sales.Conduct regular team reviews and accompany team members on field visits for coaching and problem-solving.Technology Introduction & Value-Based SellingPlan and lead the introduction of new products/technologies in rural areas.Train the field team and local partners on communicating product value based on customer needs.Identify solution-oriented sales approaches for different customer segments (farmers, shops, FPOs, SHGs).

Rural Engagement & Awareness Building
Organize demos, farmer trainings, and community events in partnership with FPOs and local influencers.Strengthen relationships with grassroots networks like SHGs, NGOs, and agri-dealers to increase reach and trust.Use storytelling, success cases, and solution benefits to create awareness and pull.Strategy, Reporting & CoordinationTrack sales, demos, training reach, and adoption data across regions.Share regular field insights to inform product strategies and marketing plans.Coordinate with leadership and product teams for new launches and improvements.

Education & Experience:
Bachelors or Masters in Agriculture, Business, Rural Development, or related field.5+ years of experience in rural sales, agri-tech, or livelihood sectors, with direct work experience with FPOs, agri-retailers, or rural customers.Proven ability to lead field teams, drive performance, and manage rural market dynamics.Experience in introducing new technologies or innovations in rural settings through demos or community programs.Strong communication in English and at least one South Indian language (Kannada, Tamil, or Telugu).Willingness to travel extensively across the 3 states (1015 days/month).Deep understanding of and existing relationships with FPOs, SHGs, FIGs, and agri-dealers in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

Nice to have
Background in agri-machinery, solar, or impact-driven products.Experience in training or capacity-building for field teams or rural communities.Exposure to social enterprises, CSR projects, or development-focused initiatives.

Location : - Bengaluru With travel to all regions in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu
