Overview of Role The Regional Manager Sales will be responsible for building and managing relationships with FPOs, SHGs, FIGs, Shops, and Retailers, ensuring sales growth and business expansion. The role involves onboarding new partners to our network while ensuring a consistent sales pipeline and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with strong negotiation skills, capable of expanding our footprint across every district in Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh. Responsibilities Sales & Business Growth Achieve regional sales targets (daily, weekly, and monthly). Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share. Identify new business opportunities, including new dealers, distributors, and sales channels. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to develop sales strategies. Dealer, FPO, SHG, FIG and Agri Retailer Engagement Build and maintain relationships with shops, retailers, and FPOs. Conduct regular visits to existing FPOs, SHGs, FIGs, and agri retailers to strengthen partnerships. Onboard new FPOs, SHGs, and FIGs in every district of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and sales contracts. Team Management & Performance Monitoring Lead and mentor Sales Executives & Sales Managers across the region. Conduct weekly & monthly performance reviews with the team. Provide training and support to enhance the sales teams performance. Market Research & Customer Insights Gather insights on farmer needs, product feedback, and demand trends. Conduct market research to identify potential growth areas. Work closely with the product and marketing teams to develop targeted sales strategies. Collections & Outstanding Payments Ensure timely collections from dealers and FPOs. Monitor overdue accounts and take necessary steps to reduce outstanding balances. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field. Minimum 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, and dealer management in the agriculture sector. Experience in selling Agricultural Equipments / Home Appliances / Small Solar Appliances Solar Lights, Solar CCTV etc., tools, or allied products is a mandatory requirement. Strong dealer networks, rural markets, and FPOs in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh is a mandatory requirement. Fluency in English & Kannada, knowledge of Tamil or Telugu or Hindi will be an advantage Business Development Skills: Established network of FPOs, SHGs, FIGs, and agri shops in every district of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Overview of Role As Associate Projects, you will be responsible for introducing and scaling up new technologies that support rural livelihoods, especially among individual farmers, FPOs, and SHGs. This is a high-impact role that combines value-based selling, rural awareness creation, training, and ecosystem engagement. You will also work closely with the sales team to ensure on-ground adoption, sales closure, and after-sales support. Responsibilities Technology Awareness & Value-Based Selling Create awareness around new livelihood-focused technologies (e.g., solar dryers, multi-food processors, fodder units, etc.) through demos, field events, and success stories. Build solution-oriented pitches tailored to the needs of farmers, SHGs, and FPOs. Design and conduct training sessions for end-users and influencers in the rural community. Ecosystem Engagement & Liaison Act as a bridge between various ecosystem stakeholders FPOs, SHGs, NGOs, agri & horti departments, government schemes, and financial institutions. Identify and build partnerships that help unlock financing, schemes, and awareness support. Facilitate linkages for subsidy or loan-based purchases through relevant government or private programs. Rural Engagement & Awareness Building, Lead Generation & Sales Enablement Plan and execute activities that generate quality leads including field demos, trade activations, or digital campaigns. Track leads and conversions, ensuring follow-ups in collaboration with the sales team. Work with the on-ground sales team to ensure implementation, installation, and customer handholding. Project Monitoring & Reporting Maintain records of awareness activities, leads generated, sales conversions, and training outcomes. Overview of Role We are seeking a dynamic Regional Manager to lead operations across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh, based out of Bangalore. The role requires someone who can support and guide the sales team, introduce new technologies in rural markets, and drive value-based selling by identifying the right solutions for the right customer segments. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with rural communities and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and can balance both sales targets and community engagement. Responsibilities Sales Support & Team Management Lead a team of ~15 sales executives across three states. Drive achievement of monthly sales and collection targets. Support the sales team in building retailer and FPO relationships, handling objections, and closing high-value sales. Conduct regular team reviews and accompany team members on field visits for coaching and problem-solving. Technology Introduction & Value-Based Selling Plan and lead the introduction of new products/technologies in rural areas. Train the field team and local partners on communicating product value based on customer needs.
