Job Title: Regional Manager – Institutional Sales Location: Multiple Regions: Chennai, Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Telangana, Chhattisgarh Experience: 7–10 years in Institutional Sales, EdTech, or Higher Education Sales Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Manager – Institutional Sales to spearhead our expansion efforts within the higher education sector across various regions. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers in colleges and universities, and driving revenue growth in the assigned region. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to onboard higher education institutions for our industry-aligned projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by acquiring new institutional partners and retaining existing ones, contributing to the company's overall revenue objectives. Institutional Partnerships: Engage with college leadership, including Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments (HODs), and Placement Cells, to promote our offerings and establish long-term partnerships. Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on business growth opportunities within the assigned region, expanding the company's footprint in the higher education sector. Negotiations & Closures: Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and finalization of partnerships, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align institutional needs with our offerings, ensuring seamless service delivery. Reporting & Analysis: Monitor market trends, track sales performance, and provide actionable insights to senior management to refine strategies and improve outcomes. Key Requirements Experience: 7–10 years of relevant experience in institutional/B2B sales, preferably in the EdTech or higher education sector. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a strong network within higher education institutions. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, capable of closing deals that align with both client and company objectives. Independent Work Ethic: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive sales in a target-driven environment. Willingness to Travel: Open to extensive travel within the assigned region to meet clients and prospects. Preferred Qualifications Educational Background: MBA or relevant degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development. Industry Experience: Prior experience working with universities, colleges, or education service providers, with a deep understanding of the higher education landscape.
