Job Description

The Regional Manager - Affluent Banking is responsible for leading a team and overseeing all business and service operations for the Affluent client segment across an assigned region. The primary goal is to achieve sales targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure strict compliance with banking regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business & Revenue Growth

    • Achieve the regions business objectives, including value, volume, and channel productivity metrics for the affluent segment.
    • Drive revenue generation through the sale of liabilities (CASA, Fixed Deposits), assets (loans, forex), and third-party products (insurance, mutual funds, etc.).
    • Formulate and implement strategic sales plans to acquire new HNI clients and expand the existing customer base.
  • Team Management & Leadership

    • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Branch Managers and a team of Relationship Managers/Service Relationship Managers within the region.
    • Manage productivity and morale of branch personnel, ensuring effective team performance and development.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance team capabilities and service delivery.
  • Client Relationship Management

    • Develop and maintain high-value banking relationships with a select group of high-net-worth customers through individualized, high-quality service.
    • Ensure in-depth client profiling to understand ficial needs and offer tailored solutions aligned with client goals.
    • Oversee the resolution of client queries and complaints within specified turnaround times (TAT) to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Portfolio Management & Advisory

    • Use investment expertise to oversee client portfolio reviews and recommend suitable investment options.
    • Continuously identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to increase wallet share and customer "stickiness".
    • Coordinate with internal desks (CPC/RPC/Investment) to provide seamless access to other products and services.
  • Compliance & Operations

    • Ensure strict adherence to all bank policies, internal audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., RBI regulations) at all times.
    • Oversee the smooth functioning of all branch operations within the region, managing administration and security aspects.
    • Generate and analyze business MIS (Management Information Systems) reports for effective decision-making and reporting to senior management
