Role Purpose

The Regional Head – Business Development provides strategic and commercial leadership for international student recruitment across designated markets. The role leads recruitment, admissions, and marketing teams to deliver sustainable enrolment growth while ensuring a high-quality, ethical, and student-centred recruitment experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute regional growth strategies for international student recruitment.
• Collaborate with admissions, marketing, and recruitment teams to manage the full enrolment pipeline.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and learner demographics to inform strategy.
• Develop and oversee recruitment partnerships and institutional collaborations.
• Ensure consistent communication of GEDU’s value proposition across all channels.
• Drive performance against agreed enrolment and revenue targets.
• Lead, coach, and develop recruitment leaders and partner teams.
• Monitor service quality and continuously improve the student experience.
• Work closely with senior leadership on business planning and market expansion initiatives.

Required Experience & Skills

• Senior-level experience in business development, student recruitment, or education sales leadership.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with recruitment partners and international markets.
• Data-driven decision-making and financial analysis capability.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
