Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in EU for a Regional Head. The Regional Head will oversee and coordinate the activities of the WHS in their designated region, manage a team of professionals, and ensure the successful implementation of WHS initiatives. Daily tasks include developing and executing regional strategies, collaborating with local stakeholders, organizing training sessions, and representing WHS at regional events. The Regional Head will also be responsible for monitoring the progress of various programs, providing support to Country Ambassadors, and reporting to the global leadership team.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic planning, project management, and team leadership
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of healthcare, particularly in headache medicine, and experience in clinician training
• Ability to collaborate with international organizations and stakeholders
• Proficiency in organizing and facilitating events, workshops, and training sessions
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Public Health, or related field is preferred
• Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for online collaboration
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Representation

• Represent WHS at regional neurology forums, conferences, and collaborations.
• Act as the academic liaison between WHS and European neurological societies, hospitals, and academic institutions.

Academic Initiatives

• Coordinate and co-host region-specific webinars, workshops, and masterclasses in headache medicine.
• Identify local educational needs and tailor WHS offerings accordingly.

Network Expansion

• Promote WHS membership among European neurologists, trainees, and researchers.
• Assist in onboarding local collaborators and academic partners.

Research and Advocacy

• Support multicenter research initiatives and data collection on headache disorders in Europe.
• Drive advocacy campaigns for headache awareness across Europe in collaboration with WHS.
