Job Description

As an Area Sales Manager / Field Sales Manager in the manufacturing industry, your role will involve generating and developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, promoting company products, and expanding the client base in the manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and approach potential clients in the market. - Generate leads from new customers through cold calls, networking, and referrals. - Analyze market area-wise customer mapping and competitor activities. - Educate clients about the company's products and how they can benefit their operations. - Understand customer requirements and offer tailored solutions. - Maintain strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers. - Address queries, issues, and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction. - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close sales. - Handle B2B sales involving dealers and distributors. - Evaluate the seriousness of business prospects and develop strategies. - Implement sales plans to meet and exceed targets. - Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and activity logs. - Understand the technical aspects of the product for client presentations and demos. - Provide product training to the team and distributors as needed. - Update client interactions in the CRM software and coordinate with internal teams for timely order fulfillment. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Science, or a related field. - 6+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry. - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. - Experience in handling dealers, distributors in B2B sales of products manufactured in India, especially laboratory products/chemicals. - Accessibility for daily reporting to the Mumbai office (Mira Road).,
