Regional Category Manager SAMEA

As a Regional Procurement Lead, your role involves: - Leading regional input and procurement initiatives for Global Category Managers and Regional Procurement Directors - Supporting Global Category Managers by analyzing market conditions, supplier base, and key themes in the region - Driving Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) execution for key strategic suppliers with Regional Procurement Director and global category director - Assisting in global category management activities related to SAMEA sourcing opportunities for global category materials such as polyol, citric acid, lactic acid, etc. - Taking charge of the budget/LE/price forecast process in the region - Leading the 1PL project program in collaboration with Group VE team, global category managers, local buyers, Group P&T/R&D, or local P&T - Co-developing annual targets with Global category director and global category managers, providing detailed project inputs - Monitoring project progress monthly and escalating deviations to senior stakeholders - Executing Sustainability projects PM SAMEA Qualifications and Training required: - Bachelor's degree with a relevant procurement specialization - A recognized qualification in procurement is highly advantageous Experience needed: - Preferably 8 years of Global/Regional professional experience in strategic procurement, with extensive knowledge of spend areas and experience in Packaging spend categories - Experience working in an international environment Specialized Knowledge and Skills required: - Full business proficiency in English is mandatory, and business proficiency in Mandarin is applicable - Proficiency in Project Management, strong graphing, and excel skills - Well-developed negotiation skills - Experience in Sustainable Sourcing - Strong Market Intelligence knowledge and analysis skills - Strong analytical skills including excel, data analysis, report generation - Proficiency in strategic business case development and senior stakeholder management/presentation communication at a senior management level - Skills in risk management, project management, and stakeholder management, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.,
