Role & responsibilities Lead Power BI functional & technical projects and responsible for the new implementation as per the business requirement or catering to the solution or fits to the business challenges or gap. Power BI Architectural plan, design, development, configuration & implementation according to the technology standard and in accordance with overall IT strategy. Power BI projects & applications plan, design, development, and implementation. Review and manage detailed Power BI project work plans and project scope, including schedules for development and deployment. Monitor and measure project progress and prepare project reports (as required), including managing daily/weekly work plans. Provide Subject Matter Expertise on BI to IT teams and business users of Power BI, offering advice and coaching on best practices. Analyzing the business requirements, technical specifications, infrastructure performance and scalability metrics and managing the delivery of relevant actionable business intelligence. Manages service levels captures, delivers, measures performance on requests/incidents. Core Skills: Comprehensive Experience of development and administration into enterprise reporting tool Power BI and Power BI Desktop. Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop. Connecting to data sources, importing, and transforming data for Business Intelligence. Implement row level security on data. The ability to drill down data and visualize it in the best possible way through charts, reports, or dashboards. In-depth understanding and experience with Microsoft BI stacks such as Power Pivot, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS. Developing Modern Data Warehouse solutions using Azure Stack (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks). Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop. Should have knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, online analytical processing, Visual Studio, etc. Able to integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation. Advanced Skills: Knowledge of advanced systems analysis methods, practices, and principles. Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports. Good verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex business concepts in technical terms. Tools of the Trade: Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Qlik) Big Data Applications (Data Lake, Python, R etc.) Training &Certification: Certified Microsoft Power BI Professional/ M.S.
