Job Description

Role Overview:

Lead and grow the NPS Fund sales and distribution business within the assigned zone.
Drive AUM growth by strengthening multi-channel partnerships-banks, national distributors, IFAs and institutional clients - while ensuring compliance and superior client experience.

Open Positions:

Key Responsibilities:

Business Growth & Strategy:

  • Own revenue and AUM targets for the assigned zone.
  • Translate national strategy into regional business plans and execute effectively.
  • Identify emerging market trends and new distribution opportunities, including digital/fintech channels.

Channel Development:

  • Build deep relationships with banks, national distributors, regional distributors and online platforms.
  • Expand penetration through innovative campaigns and new product launches

Product & Marketing Collaboration:

  • Provide market intelligence and feedback for new product ideas and campaigns.
  • Partner with marketing for local events, seminars, and subscriber education initiatives.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure all sales practices meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.
  • Oversee distributor due diligence and periodic reviews.

Financial & Operational Control:

  • Manage regional budgets, forecasts, and cost efficiencies.
  • Monitor and report AUM growth, channel performance, and key metrics to national leadership.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • MBA/PGDM in Finance/Marketing or equivalent.
  • 10-15 years of experience in financial services, with at least 5 years in mutual fund or wealth management sales leadership.
  • Proven success in multi-channel distribution and AUM growth.
  • Strong understanding of SEBI/AMFI guidelines and market dynamics of the respective zone.
