Recruiting Program Specialist
Our Corporate Functions are made up of teams that support Expedia Group, including Employee Communications, Finance, Traveler and Partner Service Platform, Legal, People Team, Inclusion and Diversity, and Global Social Impact and Sustainability. The Recruiting Program Specialist is an integral role to our Global Talent Enablement (GTE) organization, putting talent at the heart of how Expedia Group grows.As a Recruiting Program Specialist, you will play a key role in bringing top talent into our organization. You will be part of a team that supports key internal stakeholders in the hiring process, managing requests from a variety of internal stakeholders to ensure that recruiting processes are high quality and move with speed. You will play an important role in ensuring great candidate experience on a global scale, across time zones, locations and cultures.In this role, your passion for strong stakeholder partnerships and excellent service will allow both our business and our candidates to run efficient and enjoyable recruiting processes. You will additionally be able to participate in projects around process improvement, talent experience and business advice.
In This Role, You Will
- Perform complex calendar management across multiple time zones, organizing pre-briefings, hiring manager screens, individual and panel interviews, and debrief requests
- Perform pre-employment operational tasks such as background check process management and sending personalized welcome emails to new hires, providing essential information for a smooth first day
- Deliver an excellent candidate experience through prompt and proactive communication throughout the candidates lifecycle in Expedia Group recruiting processes
- Serve as a key point of contact for candidates throughout their lifecycle in Recruiting Processes
- Build key partnerships with all stakeholders in processes, including Recruiting, Sourcing, and Delivery teams across GTE, as well as Hiring Teams, HR Partners and Enablement teams
- Identify and implement improvements for processes, driving for excellent customer experience
- Support strategic projects within the GTE Strategy & Operations (S&O) team and larger GTE function
Experience And Qualifications
- Preferred : You have experience in a role requiring complex scheduling or calendar management (Recruitment Coordination, Assistant, Events Management)
- Preferred : You have a base understanding of HR or Recruiting processes, policies and practices
- Familiarity with ATS or HR Systems is a plus
- You have excellent communication skills and are able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in diverse teams and regions, globally
- You have strong organization and time management skills
- You are able to multitask, prioritize and complete a high volume of tasks with strong attention to detail
- You are able to work with sensitive or confidential information, and work with discretion
- You have a proactive mindset, and are able to troubleshoot to remove obstacles
- You are able to work both collaboratively and independently, demonstrating a strong level of ownership
- You are able to work with different regions and cultures across the world (both directly and asynchronously)
Due to the areas of the regions that this role will likely support, we are looking at shift-work that will be from 18:30 IST to 02:30 IST.
