Job Description

Location:- Kolkata

Role Purpose:-

  • Overseeing the end-to-end Record to Report process within the finance function. This includes managing financial data recording,

consolidation, reporting, and compliance.

  • The role ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, supports strategic decision-making, and drives continuous improvement in RTR processes.

Key Accountabilities:

  • 10-12 years of experience in Record to Report
  • Good domain exposure of RTR
  • Lead journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with controls and regulations.
  • Manage RTR teams and collaborate with internal departments and external auditors.
  • Optimize ERP systems and leverage automation tools like RPA.AI and bring up BVA projects through lean and six sigma
  • Monitor KPIs/SLAs and drive process standardization and automation.
  • Implement efficiency improvements and stay current with industry best practices.
  • Preparation and adherence to the SOP. Periodic update of the same
  • Monthly/Quarterly governance deck and preparation of other reportings
