Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Record to Report (R2R) Manager to lead and oversee the end-to-end R2R process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting, financial close processes, and statutory compliance, along with proven leadership skills to manage a team and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Record to Report process, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (IND-AS, IFRS, US GAAP as applicable).
  • Oversee general ledger accounting, fixed assets, intercompany reconciliations, and consolidations.
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (FP&A, Tax, Treasury, AP, AR) to ensure smooth financial close cycles.
  • Drive standardization, automation, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and resolving queries.
  • Mentor, guide, and manage the R2R team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Support transformation initiatives such as ERP implementations, system upgrades, and shared service migrations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA/CMA preferred).
  • 812 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 35 years in R2R management or leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and matrix environment.
