Role & responsibilities

• Set up and manage master data of materials and suppliers to ensure accurate and consistent data across systems.
• Run and review daily governance reports to identify inconsistencies, missing data, or system errors related to master data setups, transactional data quality, sales, invoicing, and financial and operational setups.
• Act as the gatekeeper for the General Ledger, ensuring that master data affects the P&L (Revenue recognition and COGS) correctly.
• Perform reconciliations to ensure that daily operational reports from the production/sales system tie out to the financial balances.
• Utilize strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and Data sorting, for master data cleaning.
• Demonstrate an understanding of basic accounting principles (Debits/Credits, Accruals).
• Maintain a high level of integrity when handling sensitive data and Work under project teams guidance on a daily basis to baseline master data/transactional data issue and work towards improving data quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Continuously improve processes and procedures related to master data management and data governance.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3+ years of international experience in master data management and data governance with excellent communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and Data sorting).
• Understanding of basic accounting principles (Debits/Credits, Accruals).
• High level of integrity when handling sensitive data. Excellent Analytical Skills and Advance Excel
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably MSD 365 from a Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Knowledge of accounting implications related to master data and financial processes
