Job Description

As a Reconciliation Officer/Assistant Vice President at StateStreet Services Pvt Ltd., you will play a crucial role in leading the Reconciliation team supporting State Street Middle Office services. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and delivering all day-to-day tasks of the Reconciliation management team, maintaining effective communication with business operations teams and IT, and ensuring high levels of service for all clients. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing and managing the Reconciliation Management team for the responsible Reconciliation unit/client - Driving Reconciliation process excellence through proactive management of the exception lifecycle - Ensuring service delivery and client satisfaction, including direct client interaction - Supporting a strong risk management and control environment - Analyzing operational trends, identifying areas for improvement, and conducting high-level analysis - Managing Client Change Request items impacting the Enterprise processes and Operating Models - Providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to team members - Leading Transformation projects & initiatives to achieve organizational goals - Owning KPI, KRI & OKR's for your respective group - Understanding cost/budgets and leading/driving the same - Managing with influence and effective communication across stakeholder groups - Encouraging and driving a culture of change and ideation Qualifications and Preferred Skills: - Degree in finance, business, technology, or equivalent with 10-15+ years of relevant industry experience - Extensive asset management experience, including investment operations, reconciliations, and fund accounting - Hands-on experience with reconciliation tools like TLP/IntelliMatch and proficiency in manual reconciliation processes - Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Excellent analytical skills and ability to analyze on the spot - Strong communication and presentation skills - Experience in client communication and interaction at all levels - Knowledge of Middle or Back Office operations, Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, ETFs, and other investment vehicles - Understanding of technology solutions supporting investment management operations, such as TLM/TLP and Intellimatch - Experience in driving organizational change and leveraging technology solutions like SQL, Python, etc. - Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint Additional Requirements: - Working from the office 5 days a week About StateStreet Services Pvt Ltd: StateStreet is a leading custodian bank, asset manager, and asset intelligence company globally, providing investment servicing, data & analytics, investment research & trading, and investment management solutions to institutional clients.
