Job Description

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, guests, and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional environment. This role supports daily operations by managing front-desk activities, handling inquiries, coordinating appointments, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. In both real estate and hospitality settings, the receptionist upholds excellent customer service standards and represents the organization with a friendly, polished demeanor.

Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Guest Relations

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and guests promptly and courteously.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries; direct them to appropriate staff or departments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Provide information about services, properties, or amenities.

Administrative Support

  • Schedule and confirm appointments, property viewings, or guest services.
  • Assist with filing, data entry, document preparation, and basic office tasks.
  • Monitor and manage office supplies, making orders when needed.
  • Process mail, deliveries, and courier requests.

Real Estate–Specific Duties

  • Assist agents with preparing listing packets, property brochures, and open house materials.
  • Maintain client records, listing databases, and CRM systems.
  • Coordinate keys, access codes, and lockbox information for property showings.
  • Support marketing tasks such as updating property flyers or online listings (if applicable).

Hospitality–Specific Duties

  • Handle guest check-ins/check-outs when needed.
  • Provide concierge-style support such as booking transportation, making reservations, or giving local recommendations.
  • Respond to guest concerns or service requests and communicate with housekeeping or maintenance teams.
  • Assist in coordinating events, meetings, or guest services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-service oriented with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office, G Suite, CRM systems)
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in reception, hospitality, or real estate preferred

Work Environment

Receptionists in real estate typically work in offices, brokerages, or sales centers. In hospitality, they may work in hotel lobbies, resorts, or guest service areas. Schedules may include weekends or evenings depending on business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
