Job Description

As the first point of contact at Sequoia Café, the Receptionist plays a key role in creating a warm, professional, and welcoming experience for every guest and delivery partner. You will manage guest flow, ensure smooth seating and feedback collection, and coordinate with delivery platforms like Swiggy and Zomato. Key Responsibilities: Guest Welcome & Seating: Greet guests warmly, note down name and contact details, manage waiting list, and escort them to their tables politely and efficiently. Guest Record Keeping: Maintain neat records of walk-ins, reservations (if any), and special requests. Delivery Coordination: Handover food orders to Swiggy, Zomato, and other delivery partners accurately and promptly. Billing Support: Coordinate with the steward and cashier if a customer asks for the bill or needs help during exit. Feedback Collection: Politely ask customers for feedback before they leave — through tablet, Google Form, or printed cards. Call Handling: Answer phone calls professionally for inquiries, directions, or special requests. Front Desk Maintenance: Keep the reception area neat, organized, and welcoming at all times.
