As the first point of contact, the receptionist plays a key role in upholding our brand image and ensuring a smooth and efficient front desk operation. Job Summary The Receptionist is responsible for providing a professional and friendly first impression of NJL - House of Jewellery. This role includes managing front desk operations, greeting clients and visitors, handling phone and email inquiries, and supporting administrative functions to ensure a seamless customer experience. Key Responsibilities Warmly greet and welcome clients, visitors, and suppliers. Manage all incoming calls and emails professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments. Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area, ensuring it reflects the luxury of the NJL brand. Schedule appointments and maintain the showroom calendar. Assist clients with general inquiries and provide information about products or services. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, and maintaining records. Coordinate refreshments and hospitality for client meetings. Uphold confidentiality and security procedures, especially when handling VIP clients. Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role, preferably in retail or luxury service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Professional appearance and demeanor. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel). Experience with appointment scheduling software is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Working Conditions Work is performed in a luxury retail environment.
