R&D Scientist - B/C (Exe / Sr. Exe)

Purpose of the Role:

R&D Scientist will be required to devise a general plan and detailed experimental approach for new product development. He / She will be responsible for all aspects of design phase of development through process transfer into manufacturing.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and Coordinate Research Projects

  Develop research plans, design experiments, and coordinate activities in the R&D lab to support the development of new aroma chemicals and improvement of existing ones.

• Prototype & Product Development

  Prepare laboratory-scale samples and prototypes of new aroma molecules, formulations, or blends, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility.

• Technology Evaluation & Process Improvement

  Investigate new technologies, raw materials, and methodologies. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance product quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

• Experimental Design & Documentation

  Design experimental protocols, conduct laboratory trials, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive reports to document findings and outcomes.

• Compliance & Quality Standards

  Ensure all research and product development activities comply with internal quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and safety protocols.

• Problem Solving & Innovation

  Identify technical challenges, propose innovative solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues effectively.

• Scale-up & Technology Transfer

  Support process optimization, pilot plant trials, and technology transfer from laboratory to production scale while ensuring consistency and quality.

• Scientific Contribution

  Stay updated with the latest scientific developments in aroma chemistry. Contribute knowledge and expertise to strengthen the companys R&D capabilities.

Functional Competencies

• Knowledge of Chromatography/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Green chemistry/Organic chemistry/Oleo-Chemical Chemistry/Enzymology.
• Handling chemical reactions, enzymatic reaction, solid support catalyst reaction, fermentation, biotransformation
