Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer with deep expertise in designing enclosures for industrial electronic products. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of designing products that operate reliably in cold chain, refrigeration, or pharma environments, where thermal insulation, durability, and IP protection are critical.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Noida, and we require immediate joining.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end mechanical enclosure design for rugged industrial products
• Create 3D CAD models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks/Creo
• Ensure designs meet requirements for ingress protection (IP65/IP67), thermal control, and EMI shielding
• Collaborate closely with electronics, embedded, and production teams for seamless integration
• Own and drive DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFMEA, and rapid prototyping
• Interface with suppliers for tooling, materials, and quality control
• Support design validation testing: drop tests, IP testing, thermal performance, and compliance checks

Required Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of experience in enclosure design for electronic or electro-mechanical products
• Strong experience with plastic injection molding, die-casting, and sheet metal fabrication
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, etc.
• Familiar with designing for IP-rated and thermally sensitive environments
• Experience working on refrigeration, cold chain, or pharma-grade industrial products is a major plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills
