No of VacanciesSEGReports toGCH SEGIs a Team leader?YTeam SizeGradeBusinessCorporate CenterDepartmentWholesale CreditSub-DepartmentSEGLocationAbout Wholesale CreditThe Wholesale Credit department in the Bank is a Credit Underwriting department for all Large/ mid and SME clientele of the Bank It is also responsible for ensuring the maintece of a good portfolio quality and for ensuring smooth credit appraisal processesAbouttheRoleThe Area Credit Head (ACH) manages the credit activities, processes and people for the Wholesale Credit vertical for designated location The ACH is responsible for smooth functioning of the Credit appraisal activities and hence managing the portfolio quality and also ensures adherence to the processes designed by the bankLead the credit team in the location to manage the credit appraisal process,by ensuring adherence to the standard process, Turn Around Time and decision consistencyEnsuring the quality of proposals and credit appraisal to minimize delinquency and build portfolio of expected qualityGather market intelligence with other ficial institutions and entities to understand the market dynamics and risk trends, and to use necessary information for taking credit decisionsMonitor the accounts to ensure maintece of a healthy portfolioManage the relationship with various functions and departments within the bank to ensure collaboration and alignment to organizational objectivesMaintain the Customer escalations within the desired levels for the locationEnsure timely completion of key deliverables, audit queries and adherence to the corporate credit policy/ schemeProvide regular updates on all key activities to regional managerMotivate and direct the team through feedback and grooming to help them perform as per expectationConduct manpower planning and ensure staffing requirements are metQualificationsGraduation/ Post- Graduation (MBA/ CA preferred) from a recognized instituteMinimum 5 years of relevant work experienceRole ProficienciesFor successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess:Knowledge of credit, industry and product trendsKnowledge of regulatory guidelines and normsGood communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local languageAbility to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environmentAbility to handle pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to coach and mentor others
