Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Job role-

  • You will train employees who work on

    backend healthcare processes

    like:
  • AR Denials Management

    (handling claim denials)
  • Cash Posting

  • Billing Edits

  • Correspondence

  • Reconciliation

  • Your main goal:

    Deliver training on processes, procedures, and systems

    for multiple claim platforms and tools used by Optum or its clients.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery

  • Conduct training for

    new hires

    and

    existing employees

    .
  • Types of training:

    New hire onboarding, upskilling, refresher sessions, orientations

    .
  • Use different methods:

    Classroom, webinars, blended learning

    .

Learner Performance Management

  • Monitor classroom behavior and performance.
  • Coordinate with learners managers for feedback.

Learner Support

  • Help learners before and after training.
  • Provide

    on-the-job training (OJT)

    and follow-up support.

Content Contribution

  • Suggest updates to training material and processes.
  • Contribute to curriculum development.

Reporting

  • Track batch performance.
  • Maintain training-related reports and databases.

Collaboration

  • Work with

    QA and Operations teams

    for process calibration.
  • Coach and mentor new learners.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Train on

    systems, processes, and applications

    used in RCM.
  • Teach

    company culture and values

    .
  • Provide

    feedback

    to trainees and managers.
  • Update Learning Management System (LMS) records.
  • Prepare for training (study material, practice sessions).
  • Conduct surveys and maintain logs.
  • Support learners during

    ramp-up phase

    after training.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate degree

    .
  • 5–7 years’ experience

    in

    hospital billing AR

    (denials/follow-ups).
  • Excellent

    time management

    ,

    communication

    , and

    interpersonal skills

    .
  • Experience in

    classroom and virtual training

    (MS Teams).
  • Night/evening shift

    , 100% office-based (RTO).

Preferred candidate profile

  • 3–5 years experience

    delivering training in corporate/business operations.
  • 3–5 years experience

    in healthcare RCM.
  • Knowledge of

    adult learning principles

    .
  • Familiarity with

    Acute specialty systems

    like MS4, EPIC, STAR, Invision, eFR.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles.
