No of VacanciesReports toZonal Credit Manager Retail CreditIs a Team leaderTeam SizeGradeSM/AVPBusinessDepartmentSub-DepartmentRetail CreditLocationAbout Wholesale CreditThe Wholesale Credit department in the Bank is a Credit Underwriting department for all Large/ mid and SME clientele of the Bank It is also responsible for ensuring the maintece of a good portfolio quality and for ensuring smooth credit appraisal processesAbouttheRoleThe Legal & Technical Manager manages the valuation, under construction project approval (APF) and vendor management of the Retail Credit vertical for the designatedareaThe Legal & Technical Manager is responsible for smooth functioning of the property appraisal part and hence managing the portfolio quality and also ensures adherence to the processes designed by the bankSite visit for collateral properties on case to case basis having some critical observations in valuation report by vendorSite visit to under construction projects received for APF approval to get the details about project progress, location, marketability of project, feedback about builder/project etcRegular visits to CPC/ASC locations within thegeographyto resolve query of Sales/Credit team/TM of each location Regular visit to vendor s officeDue diligence of project approval sent in Pragati application & further recommendations in Pragati for approval to approving authorityQuarterly monitoring of progress of under construction projects approved in APFRegular interaction with valuation agencies and brokers in different markets to get a sense on fair market values of properties in different geographiesReview of some sample valuation reports to have quality check of report in terms of reporting of deviations of construction norms as per local bye laws, sanction plan deviations, document due diligence, boundary and property area verification, demolition risk and any special comments made by the valuers in the valuation reportsGather market intelligence with other ficial institutions and entities to understand the market dynamics and risk trends, and to use necessary information for taking decisions on acceptance of collateralProviding updates to Central Office about any changes required in Pragati application/existing process & real estate changes or development observed forgeographyTraining to Technical Managers, Sales /Credit Team about Pragati application & to keep them updated about recent updates about city specific changes in real estate marketVendor Management including vendor empanelment, periodic review & training of vendorsQualificationsBachelor Civil Engineering or Bachelor in ArchitectureExperience of 6 to 8 years in property valuations and APF approvalShould have earlier efficiently managed a team of at least 1-2 people (optional)Role ProficienciesFor successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess:Knowledge of Real Estate market for thegeographyIn depth knowledge about valuation, process & norms affecting valuationKnowledge about construction items and cost of each itemKnowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms, local byelaws related to real estateGood communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language
