Job Description

Role Overview: You will have the chance to work in a client-facing role within the EY Consulting SOX Senior team, where you will be responsible for managing SOX engagements for multiple processes across clients and recommending solutions to various business challenges and process inefficiencies. Your role will involve working closely with key stakeholders and management executives of globally recognized brands, as well as teaming up with performance improvement professionals in multidisciplinary engagements. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a team of Staffs (if needed) or independently deliver SOX engagements for multiple processes across client(s) - Participate or drive conversations with the clients for process discussions and conduct walkthroughs - Prepare process flows/narratives and risk & control matrices based on process discussions - Identify process gaps and provide recommendations for improvement - Conduct test of design and operating effectiveness, and suggest controls to enhance the client's control framework - Document testing workpapers as per defined standards and quality benchmark - Support the Manager in conducting SOX scoping, control rationalization, and standardization for business processes - Monitor project progress, manage multiple assignments and related project teams if needed - Provide regular status updates to the Manager on the controls - Develop strong working relationships with clients and onshore client teams - Mentor and coach junior team members to help them meet performance goals and grow their careers - Participate/support business development initiatives and innovation initiatives - Suggest ideas to improve engagement productivity and client service - Manage engagement budgets and ensure compliance with engagement plans and internal quality & risk management procedures - Display teamwork, integrity, and leadership, and foster teamwork and innovation - Utilize technology & tools to learn, innovate, and enhance service delivery - Conduct workshops and technical training sessions for team members and contribute to the learning & development agenda Qualifications Required: - More than 1 year (CAs) or 3 years (others) of Big 4 or professional firm experience in risks & controls, with majority in SOX/internal controls - Strong understanding of SOX and COSO framework - CIA certification preferred - Degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or similar field - Exceptional command of spoken and written English - Globally mobile and flexible to travel to onsite locations - Team player with strong interpersonal skills - Ability to think differently and innovate Additional Details: EY is dedicated to helping clients from startups to Fortune 500 companies in varied projects.
