Perform and interpret a variety of radiological examinations including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings and recommend further procedures. Generate accurate and timely radiology reports detailing findings and diagnostic conclusions. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all imaging practices. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in radiology technology and techniques. Supervise junior radiology staff and provide mentorship as needed. Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities. Assist in the development of departmental protocols and quality assurance measures. Participate in research activities and contribute to academic publications. Manage patient follow-up regarding results and imaging procedures. Provide education to patients about procedures and safety protocols. Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about radiological services. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and operational standards in radiology practice. Qualifications MBBS degree from an accredited medical college. DNB or DM RD in Radiology is required. State medical license to practice as a radiologist in India. Proven experience in a clinical radiology role. Strong understanding of radiological equipment and imaging methods. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Prior experience in patient care and consultation. Ability to communicate complex information clearly to patients and healthcare providers. Proficient in using radiology information systems and PACS. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in interpretations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients and colleagues. Commitment to continuing medical education and professional development. Knowledge of current trends and best practices in radiology. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
