About The Opportunity
On-site role based in Bhiwani, Haryana for a busy multispeciality hospital seeking an experienced radiologist to lead diagnostic imaging across USG and CT modalities. The ideal candidate will deliver timely, accurate reports, drive quality and protocol optimisation, and collaborate closely with clinical teams.Role & Responsibilities
- Provide authoritative diagnostic interpretation and timely sign-off of ultrasound (including Doppler) and CT studies, including contrast-enhanced and CTA exams.
- Perform and supervise diagnostic ultrasound examinations and image-guided procedures (as required), ensuring patient safety and procedural accuracy.
- Develop, review and optimise CT and USG protocols, contrast administration guidelines, and radiation-dose reduction strategies (ALARA).
- Maintain high-quality reporting standards using PACS/RIS with structured reports and ensure DICOM compliance and efficient turnaround times.
- Work closely with referring clinicians in multidisciplinary meetings, provide urgent bedside imaging consults, and support inpatient workflow.
- Train and mentor junior radiology staff and technologists; uphold departmental SOPs, QA processes and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MD / DNB / DMRD or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Radiology
- Valid medical registration with the relevant State Medical Council
- Proven experience reporting diagnostic USG and CT studies in a hospital setting
- Hands-on experience with PACS and DICOM workflows
- Competence in contrast media protocols and radiation safety (dose optimisation)
- Ability to produce structured, clinically actionable radiology reports and meet SLAs
Preferred
- Fellowship or focused training in CT, emergency radiology, or abdominal/vascular imaging
- Experience with image-guided interventional ultrasound procedures
- Familiarity with RIS and CT advanced applications (e.g., perfusion, 3D reconstructions)
