Education/Qualification:

Qualified Accountant with relevant experience
5-7 years of experience in the similar process delivering general accounting operations
Working with quick turn-around deadlines on working with Global stakeholders

Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills

Excellent Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint Good understanding of oracle
Excellent Verbal & Written
Ability to manage a team of 15-20 associates
Proficient in general accounting and fixed assets process Understanding of various tools used in GA & FA processing Prior experience in transition
Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels
High energy, self-motivation with a high degree of accountability

Job Responsibilities:

Manage end to end delivery of general accounting and fixed assets
process
Supervise all sub-processes such as period end close, book closure, financial analysis, fixed assets records updation, etc.
Identify day-to-day issues and resolve in consultation with the
customer
SLA monitoring and improvements in processes
Ensure that books of accounts are updated on a regular basis Ensure all relevant controls are in place and adherence to SOX compliance
Arrange for periodic training to the staff to be aware of the changes in the accounting policies and procedures as well as
customer specific changes
Periodic calls and meetings with customer to discuss SLA
compliance
Co-ordinate with various other functions such as technology, Quality etc.
Support in month end close activities and reporting
