Quotation Estimator – Modular Furniture

Hiring for Quotation Estimator- Modular Furniture for Tataria.

Exp- 1 Yrs- Upto- 3 Yrs

Work Location- Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

1. Estimation & Quotation Preparation

·       Prepare detailed cost estimates for modular furniture (kitchens, wardrobes, office furniture, storage units, etc.).

·       Study architectural drawings, layouts, and client requirements to prepare BOQs.

·       Calculate material consumption, hardware requirements, labour costs, and production time.

·       Generate professional quotation documents with pricing breakdowns.

·

2. Coordination

·       Coordinate with the design team for drawings, elevations, and material selection.

·       Communicate with vendors and procurement teams for material rates and updates.

·       Work with sales teams to finalize pricing strategies and negotiate margins.

·

3. Technical Understanding

·       Strong understanding of modular furniture components (panels, edge banding, hardware, fittings).

·       Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as cutting, routing, assembly, and finishing.

·       Ability to suggest value-engineering options to optimize cost.

·

4. Documentation & Reporting

·       Maintain a database of material prices, hardware catalogues, and labour rates.

·       Track and record all estimation queries, conversions, and outcome reports.

·       Ensure quotations comply with company standards and customer specifications.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential

·       Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

·       1–2 years of experience in modular furniture estimation (or similar industry).

·       Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software.

·       Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
