Quantity Surveyor & Billing Engineer

• The Civil Billing Engineer is responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, from preparing detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs from drawings to processing client and subcontractor invoices.
• This role requires a strong understanding of construction project lifecycles, financial regulations, and effective coordination with various stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and timely payments.
• Key Responsibilities
• Bill Preparation and Processing:
• Prepare Client and Subcontractor bills (RA Bills) based on site progress and work orders.
• Extract and quantify materials and works from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Maintain and process billing records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Estimation and Costing:
• Estimate costs for various civil engineering works, including earthworks, structures, and buildings.
• Perform rate analysis based on material, labor, and overhead costs for different items.
• Verification and Quality Control:
• Verify site measurements against the actual work completed and site progress reports.
• Conduct site visits for physical checking of work progress and bill verification.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare detailed and accurate financial reports, including monthly reconciliation statements and billing records.
• Generate Management Information Systems (MIS) reports for stakeholders and senior management.
• Coordination and Communication:
• Liaise with site engineers, project managers, clients, and accounts departments to resolve billing-related issues.
• Ensure the timely submission and clearance of all client and contractor bills.
• Required Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, quantity surveying, or financial management within the civil engineering or construction sector.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant billing or project management software.
• Strong knowledge of construction project lifecycle, project budgets, and financial documentation.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
