Senior Manager / Lead Quality

Role Overview:

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Quality Management & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Quality Management System (QMS).
  
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001), relevant construction codes, and client specifications.
  
• Prepare and review Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and Quality Procedures.
  
• Monitor quality performance and define preventive/corrective actions.
  

Project Quality Control

• Oversee inspection activities for civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural works (as applicable).
  
• Conduct material verification, WPS/PQR review (if industrial fabrication), and ensure adherence to project technical requirements.
  
• Review and approve contractor/supplier quality documentation.
  
• Verify calibration of tools, equipment, and testing instruments.
  

Site Monitoring & Audits

• Conduct internal quality audits and supplier/vendor audits.
  
• Ensure compliance to drawings, standards, specifications, and workmanship guidelines.
  
• Lead NCR (Non-Conformance Report) management, root-cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  
• Ensure quality checkpoints at every project milestone.
  

Team Leadership

• Manage and guide site QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and document controllers.
  
• Conduct training on quality standards, SOPs, and best practices.
  
• Coordinate with project managers, safety teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  

Client Coordination

• Act as the primary interface with client QA/QC teams, consultants, and third-party inspectors.
  
• Participate in client meetings, audits, and progress review sessions.
  
• Ensure timely submission of quality reports and documentation.
  

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain complete quality records (WIR, MIR, NCR, RFI, test reports, calibration logs).
  
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly quality performance reports.
  
• Ensure timely handover of Quality Dossiers at project close-out.
  

Project Handover

• Ensure all punch points are closed before handover.
  
• Conduct final inspections and ensure quality clearance for commissioning.
  
• Compile and submit as-built documentation, test certificates, and compliance reports.
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  industrial construction standards

  (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical depending on company).
• Expertise in
