Objective: The Quality Manager is accountable for developing and implementing best practice QA/QC processes, procedures, and standards across the regional DC Construction portfolio. Operating within a matrixed organization, ensuring NTT GDC's standards are maintained across the build program, providing technical support and leadership to execution teams, partners, and suppliers for sustainable growth. Enabling a right first-time culture to deliver best-in-class DCs to internal and external clients. Main tasks: - Support development and implementation of QA/QC program, standards, and processes for Data Center Construction and Fit Out projects across the region. - Monitor implementation of site-level QA/QC procedures for pre-emptive resolution of quality issues. - Ensure effective quality risk assessments by the General Contractor (GC) before construction begins. - Contribute to NTT Design Development process to mitigate quality risks. - Review fabrication quality plans and accompany project team members on factory visits. - Participate in lessons learned meetings, ensuring knowledge sharing. - Implement a project defects management system and report on project quality metrics. - Drive stakeholder alignment and continuous improvement opportunities. - Oversee planning, execution, and completion of data center construction projects. - Develop detailed project plans, coordinate resources, and manage budgets. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Requirements: Professional skills: - Engineering degree in construction or engineering discipline. - Hands-on experience in construction, preferably Data Center projects. - Understanding of quality management principles and ISO 9001. - Strong knowledge of construction regulations and quality specifications. - Willingness to travel and experience in auditing and reporting. - Fluent in English. What you'll be doing: Key Responsibilities: - Overseeing data center construction projects, including new builds and renovations. - Developing project plans, coordinating resources, and providing technical guidance. - Managing project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and addressing risks. - Implementing quality control measures and ensuring compliance with design specifications. - Providing regular project updates, managing relationships with vendors and contractors. - Promoting safety protocols, environmental responsibility, and compliance. Knowledge and Attributes: - Advanced knowledge of data center facilities, infrastructure, and industry standards. - Technical understanding of electrical systems, HVAC, cooling technologies, and security systems. - Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. - Knowledge of international regulations and standards, commitment to continuous learning. - Financial acumen and experience managing large construction project budgets. Academic Qualifications and Certifications: - Bachelor's degree in relevant field, PMP certification preferred. Required Experience: - Experience in project management methodologies, data center construction projects, and leading project resources within a global IT services organization.,
