Quality Manager, Hospital

As a Quality Manager at Medpark Hospital in Mohali, your role will be crucial in leading hospital quality initiatives, maintaining NABH accreditation standards, and ensuring compliance with medical administration protocols. Your prior experience in healthcare quality management systems and hospital accreditation processes will be valuable in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage hospital-wide NABH 3rd addition accreditation and reaccreditation processes. - Develop, implement, and monitor hospital SOPs, manuals, and policies as per NABH and other statutory guidelines. - Conduct regular internal audits, clinical audits, and gap analysis for quality improvement. - Train clinical and non-clinical staff on quality standards, documentation, and patient safety protocols. - Coordinate hospital committees such as Quality, Infection Control, Medical Audit, and Ethics. - Monitor key quality indicators (KQIs), patient satisfaction scores, and implement improvement plans. - Ensure clinical documentation accuracy and support departments in compliance reporting. - Maintain incident/near-miss tracking systems and oversee root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions. - Collaborate with departments to foster a culture of continuous quality improvement (CQI). - Handle external audits, liaison with accreditation bodies, and respond to compliance queries. - Keep updated with regulatory changes and quality standards in the healthcare sector. Qualifications Required: - MHA (Master of Hospital Administration) or MBA in Healthcare Management In this role, you will need to possess in-depth knowledge of NABH standards and their implementation, strong analytical and documentation skills, the ability to lead cross-functional teams and hospital committees, excellent communication, training, and report-writing skills, as well as a sound understanding of hospital operations and clinical workflows. Proficiency in MS Office, hospital information systems (HIS), and quality reporting tools will also be essential for success.
