Quality Manager, Hospital

As a Quality Manager at Medpark Hospital in Mohali, your role will involve leading hospital quality initiatives, maintaining NABH accreditation standards, and ensuring compliance with medical administration protocols. With 410 years of experience in Quality Assurance in Hospitals, you will play a crucial role in upholding the hospital's reputation for quality healthcare services. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage hospital-wide NABH 3rd addition accreditation and reaccreditation processes. - Develop, implement, and monitor hospital SOPs, manuals, and policies following NABH and statutory guidelines. - Conduct regular internal audits, clinical audits, and gap analysis to drive quality improvement. - Train clinical and non-clinical staff on quality standards, documentation, and patient safety protocols. - Coordinate hospital committees including Quality, Infection Control, Medical Audit, and Ethics. - Monitor key quality indicators (KQIs) and patient satisfaction scores, implementing improvement plans as needed. - Ensure accuracy in clinical documentation and provide support for compliance reporting. - Maintain incident/near-miss tracking systems, oversee root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions. - Collaborate with departments to cultivate a culture of continuous quality improvement (CQI). - Handle external audits, interact with accreditation bodies, and address compliance queries. - Stay updated on regulatory changes and quality standards in the healthcare sector. Qualifications Required: - MHA (Master of Hospital Administration) or MBA in Healthcare Management As a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Manager, you will need to have in-depth knowledge of NABH standards and implementation, strong analytical and documentation skills, the ability to lead cross-functional teams and hospital committees, excellent communication, training, and report-writing skills, as well as a sound understanding of hospital operations and clinical workflows. Proficiency in MS Office, hospital information systems (HIS), and quality reporting tools will be essential for success in this role.
