Job Title: Quality Inspector
Reports To: Quality Manager
Location: Khijadiya, Jamnagar - Rajkot Hwy
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Purpose

The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting hourly online inspections of production machines, maintaining quality records and documentation, monitoring rejections, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The role also involves supporting 5S activities and assisting in the implementation of corrective and preventive measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hourly quality checks on machines and processes during production.
• Record inspection results and maintain all quality sheets, reports, and documentation.
• Monitor defects, rejections, and non-conformities, and escalate issues to the Quality Manager.
• Support 5S implementation and workplace discipline in the production and quality areas.
• Assist in conducting root cause analysis for recurring defects and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO / company quality standards.
• Provide feedback to operators and production staff for quality improvement.
• Cooperate with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: ITI / Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical, Production, or related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years in a similar role (freshers with strong technical knowledge may apply).

Technical Skills:

• Quality inspection methods and tools
• Knowledge of rejection analysis and 5S
• Basic understanding of ISO quality systems
• Ability to read and maintain inspection records

Soft Skills:

• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Problem-solving and teamwork abilities
• Good communication skills

Working Conditions

• 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• [6 days a week / Friday off]
• Work environment: shop floor, production areas, and quality office.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
