We are looking for a skilled and experienced Zinc Plating Incharge to oversee and manage our in-house zinc plating operations. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, hands-on operational expertise, and a proven track record in surface treatment processes. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily zinc plating operations . Monitor and control plating parameters (zinc concentration, pH, temperature, current density). Ensure quality compliance with IS/ISO standards for plating thickness, corrosion resistance, and appearance. Troubleshoot plating defects such as blistering, poor adhesion, uneven coating, etc. Manage pre-treatment (degreasing, pickling) and post-treatment (passivation, drying, packing) processes. Maintain and calibrate equipment, tanks, filters, rectifiers, etc. Ensure proper wastewater handling as per pollution control norms. Train plating staff on process discipline and safety protocols. Maintain documentation, plating records, and internal quality reports. Required Experience & Skills: Minimum 5–10 years of hands-on experience in zinc electroplating (acid/alkaline) processes. Strong understanding of electrochemistry , surface treatment , and metal finishing standards . Familiarity with zinc thickness measurement (microns) and salt spray test (SST) analysis. Experience with fasteners, precision machined parts or automotive components preferred. Team management and process improvement skills. Basic computer skills for report generation and data logging. As a Quality Inspector / Machine Operator at our company located in Khijadiya, Jamnagar - Rajkot Hwy, your role will involve operating, setting, and maintaining Optical Sorting Machines (One-Piece Checking Machines).
