Quality Inspector

Job Title: Quality Checker – Bags Location: FARIDPUR, BAREILLY, UTTAR PRADESH Department: Quality Control / Production Reports To: Quality Control Supervisor / Production Manager Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Checker to ensure that all bags produced meet our company's quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting finished bags for defects, verifying adherence to specifications, and maintaining records of inspections. This role is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction and brand reputation. Key Responsibilities: Inspect finished bags (handbags, totes, backpacks, etc.) for defects such as poor stitching, incorrect labeling, uneven seams, scratches, stains, or faulty hardware. Verify that each bag meets design specifications, including size, color, material, and branding elements. Perform in-process checks during production to identify and correct issues early. Tag or separate defective items and report issues to the production or quality supervisor. Maintain accurate inspection records and document non-conformities. Collaborate with the production team to improve product quality and reduce defect rates. Follow company quality assurance procedures and safety standards. Ensure packaging meets the required presentation and protection standards before dispatch. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (technical training in quality control or textiles is a plus). Prior experience in quality checking, preferably in the bag or leather goods industry. Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills. Knowledge of quality standards and production processes. Ability to read design specifications, measurements, and technical documents. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with luxury or fashion accessories. Familiarity with quality tools like checklists, inspection reports, and tagging systems. Basic understanding of sewing, materials, and bag construction.
