Quality Inspector

As a Quality Checker for bags at our company, your primary responsibility will be to meticulously inspect all finished bags to ensure they meet our high-quality standards. You will play a crucial role in upholding customer satisfaction and our brand reputation by identifying defects, verifying specifications, and keeping detailed inspection records. Your key responsibilities will include examining handbags, totes, backpacks, etc., for any issues such as poor stitching, incorrect labeling, or faulty hardware. You will need to confirm that each bag aligns with design specifications in terms of size, color, materials, and branding elements. Additionally, you will conduct in-process checks during production to address any concerns promptly and collaborate with the production team to enhance product quality and decrease defect rates. To excel in this role, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in quality control or textiles being a valuable asset. Previous experience in quality checking, particularly in the bag or leather goods sector, is preferred. Strong attention to detail, observational skills, knowledge of production processes, and the ability to interpret design specifications and technical documents are essential. Effective communication, teamwork, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment are also vital. If you have experience in luxury or fashion accessories, familiarity with quality tools like checklists and inspection reports, and a basic understanding of sewing, materials, and bag construction, it will be considered a plus. The salary for this position will be based on experience, and the working hours are from 9 am to 6 pm on a full-time, permanent basis, with day and morning shifts available.
