The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing cost accounting related to production, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting overall financial planning. Key Responsibilities: Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain day-to-day accounting records, ledgers, and journals in accordance with accounting standards. Inventory & Cost Accounting: Track and manage raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Calculate and analyze cost of production , including labor, overheads, and materials. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage vendor payments and customer receivables. Reconcile accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other applicable taxes. Ensure compliance with local and national financial regulations.Support monthly payroll activities, including calculation of wages, deductions, and statutory payments (PF/ESI, etc.).Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.Assist in preparing budgets, monitoring spending, and analyzing variances.Prepare documentation and assist external/internal auditors during audits. Key Responsibilities: Inspect finished bags (handbags, totes, backpacks, etc.) for defects such as poor stitching, incorrect labeling, uneven seams, scratches, stains, or faulty hardware. Verify that each bag meets design specifications, including size, color, material, and branding elements. Perform in-process checks during production to identify and correct issues early. Tag or separate defective items and report issues to the production or quality supervisor. Maintain accurate inspection records and document non-conformities.
