Quality Inspector

As a Quality Assurance Inspector, your role involves performing a variety of inspection and testing tasks to ensure the quality and compliance of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. You will use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications. Additionally, you will conduct tests to evaluate product performance, durability, and adherence to safety standards. Your key responsibilities include: - Performing visual and dimensional inspections of materials and products - Utilizing precision measuring tools to verify product specifications - Conducting tests to evaluate product performance and compliance with safety standards In terms of documentation and reporting, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality metrics. You will also prepare detailed reports on quality issues, communicate findings to relevant teams, and ensure proper documentation of non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions. Compliance with company, customer, and regulatory quality standards is crucial. You will need to stay informed about industry standards, quality protocols, and certifications. Moreover, your role will involve identifying defects, deviations, and areas for improvement in products and processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and support continuous improvement initiatives and quality audits. Ensuring the safety and calibration of inspection tools and equipment is essential. You will be required to maintain proper calibration of tools and equipment, as well as adhere to safety guidelines and protocols during inspection and testing.
