As a Turner at our Automobile Industry facility located in RIICO Ind Area Bhiwadi, you will play a crucial role in operating lathe machines to produce precision components according to specified requirements. Your expertise in machining processes, blueprint reading, and quality control procedures will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and quality of the manufactured parts. Operating lathe machines will be your primary responsibility, encompassing tasks such as facing, turning, grooving, threading, and boring to meet the required specifications. Your ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders will guide you in selecting, installing, and adjusting cutting tools, work holding devices, and machine settings for optimal performance. Precision will be key in your role as you measure and inspect finished parts using precision instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to maintain the quality standards. Additionally, you will be tasked with performing routine maintenance on machines, monitoring operations, making necessary adjustments for dimensional accuracy and surface finish, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Collaboration with fellow team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel will be integral in maintaining a smooth workflow. Your proficiency in maintaining accurate records of work, materials used, and production output will aid in troubleshooting machining problems and implementing corrective actions as needed. To excel in this role, you should possess an ITI certification in Mechanical Turner or a related field, with proven experience in a manufacturing environment being preferred. A strong understanding of lathe operation, machining principles, and cutting tool technology is crucial.
