Role & responsibilities

• Quality Assurance:

  Ensure compliance with quality standards across various manufacturing processes, including product design, assembly, and final inspections.

• Inspection & Testing:

  Conduct inspections and tests on incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to meet quality specifications.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  Maintain and update quality records, test reports, and inspection documents. Prepare periodic reports on quality metrics and performance.

• Root Cause Analysis:

  Identify the root causes of quality issues and take corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to resolve problems.

• Audit & Compliance:

  Participate in internal and external quality audits. Ensure adherence to ISO, safety, and environmental standards.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Assist in implementing process improvements and quality initiatives, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement across teams.

• Training & Support:

  Train production staff on quality standards and best practices. Provide support to teams for resolving any quality-related issues during production.

Preferred candidate profile

• Deep Knowledge of Welding Techniques of SAW, GMAW and Arc Welding, well conversant of the advance CNC Welding machines, Plasma machine & tools.
• Deep Knowledge of Relevant IS Codes & Standards with Welding associated Quality waves of fabrication.
• Sound Knowledge of Fit-up Ortho Structural Members of heavy steel structures.
• Strong knowledge of quality control tools and techniques (Level 2 in RT, UT, MT and PT qualified by ASNT/ISNT, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC etc).
• Proficient in reading technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in

  CAD/CAM software

  (AutoCAD, Solid Works, etc.) and interpreting fabrication drawings.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other quality management standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and quality management software.
