Quality Head - Hand Protection (Gloves)

Responsibilities

Mallcom India is hiring for Quality Head - Gloves who will be lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions across the gloves manufacturing operations. This role ensures that all products meet regulatory standards, customer requirements, and internal benchmarks for safety, durability, and performance. The Quality Head will drive continuous improvement initiatives, oversee compliance with international standards, and foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.Quality Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement the company s quality management system (QMS).
• Define quality objectives aligned with business goals.
• Lead and mentor the QA/QC team to build strong technical and analytical capabilities.

• Establish and monitor quality standards for raw materials, production processes, and finished gloves.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ASTM, EN, and other relevant standards for gloves.

• Plan and execute internal audits, supplier audits, and third-party certifications.
• Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance (FDA, CE, PPE directives, etc.).
• Liaise with external agencies for product testing and certification.

• Address customer complaints and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with sales and R&D teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Provide technical support to clients regarding product quality and performance.

• Drive lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
• Introduce advanced testing methods and automation in quality processes.
• Benchmark against industry best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering or related field, Any Certification/Degree in Quality will be added advantage.
• 10+ years of experience in quality management, preferably in gloves, PPE, or medical device manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and other relevant Indian and global standards.
• Expertise in statistical quality control, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with production, R&D, and supply chain teams
