Quality Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Work independently to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts ensuring end-to-end test coverage.
Perform continuous testing across security, API, regression, and functional test suites.
Develop automation strategies and frameworks (BDD/Cucumber) to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Support test data management, environment setup, and test execution.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to identify, log, and resolve defects.
Participate in code reviews, monitor testing outcomes, and contribute to continuous improvement practices.
Conduct database validations and file-handling based testing as required.
Actively engage in team discussions and contribute solutions to technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must Have:

5+ years of strong hands-on experience in
Selenium with Java
.
Experience in
API Testing
using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
Strong experience in
BDD/Cucumber framework
implementation.
Proven experience in
Banking domain projects
(mandatory).
Database testing and file handling expertise.

Good to Have:

Exposure to automation tools such as
Cypress, TestComplete, or Playwright
.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Strong understanding of
software testing methodologies
and
QA best practices
.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
Minimum
15 years of full-time education
.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
