Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer with over 6 years of experience in welding and fabrication quality management, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Monitor and inspect welding and fabrication processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements. - Prepare, maintain, and manage all quality-related documentation including inspection reports, NCRs, audit reports, and process control records. - Conduct internal and external quality audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings. - Handle audit documentation and coordinate with certification bodies for quality system compliance (ISO, ASME, etc.). - Implement and enforce quality control procedures and inspection plans specific to welding and fabrication. - Identify quality issues and perform root cause analysis followed by corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). - Liaise with production, engineering, and vendors to resolve quality concerns and improve manufacturing processes. - Train and guide team members on quality standards, welding codes, and fabrication best practices. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related discipline. - Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in quality engineering, focusing on welding and fabrication. - Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication techniques, and related quality standards. - Expertise in quality documentation, audit handling, and compliance with ISO/ASME standards. - Proficient in using quality tools and techniques such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis. - Experience in preparing and handling audit reports and NCR closures. - Immediate availability to join. - Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.,
