Role Summary:

Vyapars Engineering team builds the technology platform that eases and digitizes our customers bookkeeping and enables the transition of cumbersome accounting data from general bookkeeping to a digitized always available resource.

We are looking for a dedicated QA tester who will be responsible for the designing, automating, and implementing test plans to improve the usability of Vyapar products. The QA tester will work with the cross-functional teams for ensuring quality throughout the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyzing the requirements from the product team
• Designing test plans, automation scripts, scenarios, and procedures
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Arranging test environment to execute the manual and automated test cases and analyze results
• Execute manual and automated test cases
• Conducting post-release or post-implementation testing
• Identify and report bugs and issues to development teams
• Log and retest defects
• Develop, maintain, and communicate the testing metrics to the stakeholders on a regular basis
• Conducting review meetings

Desired Skills and Requirements:

Must have

• Good knowledge of Java
• Automation with Selenium
• Regression testing
• Agile Methodologies
• Test management software (e.g. JIRA, Zephyr)
• Problem-solving skills
• Eye for detail

Good to have

• Knowledge of automation testing in native mobile and windows platforms.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.

Experience:

• 2 to 4 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Project Management and QA methodology
• Product Company background is a plus
• Fin-tech domain viz. accounting experience is a plus
• Startup experience is also a plus

Education:

• A full-time B.E/ B.Tech Degree from a recognized university
• Vendor based or Vendor neutral Standard/QA/Testing certifications will be a plus
