Job Description – Quality Engineer

Position: Quality Engineer
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (minimum)
Location: Varmora Forge
Industry: Fasteners / Manufacturing

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality standards, implementing quality control systems on the shop floor, and managing all certification and documentation processes (ISO and other quality standards). The role requires close coordination with production, inspection, and management teams to maintain compliance and deliver world-class products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor quality control systems in the factory.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections of products as per drawings and standards.
  • Prepare, maintain, and manage all ISO documents, quality certifications, and audit paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, etc.).
  • Develop quality plans, control plans, and inspection reports for production batches.
  • Work with the production team to ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective measures for non-conformities.
  • Manage and maintain calibration records for measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, etc.).
  • Handle customer complaints, documentation, and follow-ups.
  • Train shop floor team members on quality procedures, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing setup (preferably in fasteners/auto parts/forging).
  • Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and tools.
  • Good understanding of ISO standards, certifications, and audit processes.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of measurement instruments, gauges, and testing procedures.
  • Ability to coordinate with production, vendors, and customers.

Pay: ₹10,443.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
