Job Description

You will be joining our team as a Quality Engineer in a leading manufacturing company specializing in cleanroom partition panels and fire doors. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processes, focusing specifically on cleanroom partition panel and fire door production. To excel in this role, you must possess a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, a solid background in sheet metal industries, and a drive for continuous improvement. Your experience in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing precision, compliance, and performance, will be invaluable. Your key responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control processes for manufacturing cleanroom partition panels and fire doors. You will conduct inspections and audits to ensure strict adherence to quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Collaborating closely with the production team, you will troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues during the manufacturing process. Additionally, you will create and analyze reports on product performance, identifying areas for enhancement and executing corrective actions. You will also be responsible for performing root cause analysis for product defects or quality deviations, driving corrective actions and preventive measures. As a Quality Engineer, you will lead and partake in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing product quality, reducing defects, and enhancing overall efficiency. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, production, and R&D, will be essential to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle. You will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with industry standards, including ISO, UL, and fire safety regulations pertinent to cleanroom and fire door manufacturing. Effectively managing customer complaints and warranty claims related to product quality, ensuring timely resolutions, will also fall under your purview. Training production staff and operators on quality standards and best practices, as well as maintaining and updating quality documentation, will be key aspects of your role. In terms of qualifications, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in the sheet metal or manufacturing industry, particularly in cleanroom partition panels or fire door production, is highly desired. Proficiency in quality control techniques, industry standards (ISO, UL), and safety regulations is crucial. Strong problem-solving skills, familiarity with statistical quality control methods and tools, proficiency in quality management software and the MS Office Suite, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment are all essential. Preferred skills for this role include experience with cleanroom environment standards and specifications, as well as knowledge of fire door certification processes and requirements. This is a full-time position with a rotational shift schedule, requiring in-person work at our location.,
