Quality Engineer (Telecom -Infra)

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and inspect all civil and passive infrastructure works including tower foundation, erection, shelter installation, DG, and battery setup to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct regular site quality audits and inspections during and after installation activities.
• Verify workmanship, materials, and installation practices as per standard operating procedures (SOPs), project specifications, and IS/BS/IEC codes.
• Ensure proper documentation of test reports, inspection checklists, and quality records.
• Assist in developing and implementing site-specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plans.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and vendors to resolve quality issues.
• Report non-conformities and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented effectively.
• Maintain records of material approvals, calibration certificates, and compliance reports.
• Provide training or guidance to site teams on quality protocols and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards during inspections.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of telecom passive components (e.g., towers, shelters, earthing systems, power systems).
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, audit practices, and technical specifications.
• Familiar with national and international quality standards in telecom infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in preparing site reports and maintaining quality documentation.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in telecom infrastructure quality assurance, preferably in passive telecom works.
• Familiarity with telecom infrastructure projects

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
