Quality Engineer

**Job Description:** Orbit & Skyline India Pvt. As a Quality Engineer at Orbit & Skyline, you will play a key role in managing supplier programs and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in the semiconductor industry. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drive First Article Qualification for all Parts in Machining, Sheet Metal Commodities. - Review FAI reports of Supplier and prepare inspection plans. - Accept in-process or final buyback of parts by performing detailed examinations for conformance to specified requirements. - Raise defect reports for non-conforming work or processes. - Monitor Supplier's performance and coordinate non-conformity reports with Design Organization. - Assist suppliers in implementing 8D (RCCA), First Article, Process of Record/SOW/OMS, and Change management. - Drive supplier improvement through assessment and scorecard management. - Evaluate the impact of part quality related non-conformance and provide appropriate dispositions. - Lead problem-solving activities and drive root cause and corrective actions with suppliers. **Qualifications & Skills:** - Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Materials with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. - Ability to understand and interpret CAD or engineering drawings and specifications. - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and GD&T. - Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Professional certification such as Six Sigma, CQE, or CQA. - Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills. **Additional Details:** Orbit & Skyline offers a holistic workplace that encourages individuals to attain their full potential.
